Tom Borin Bio

I'm a young Melbourne based writer currently studying at Swinburne University of Technology. I'm passionate about writing in all forms. Through this website you will see short stories, screenplays, film reviews, opinion pieces and essays. 

My reason for making this website is predominantly to give myself a structure for consistent writing and monthly/weekly goals to achieve. Through the dates of publishing you will be able to see my consistency and dedication to writing. Truthfully, not every piece here will be groundbreaking or 10/10 but every work allows myself to try new things and learn to become a better writer.

Once on a podcast from 2017 I heard Paul Schrader being read his own dialogue from Taxi Driver. His response was that he'd write it better now. There will always be improvement to be made and the only way to improve it is to write. That is the mantra of this site and of myself.
